Submission and Dependencies
Exodus 19:8 KJV And all the people answered together, and said, All that the Lord hath spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the Lord.
It's in man to will but it takes discipline to do the will. It takes understanding that there are things you cannot do on your strength. We are told it is not by might nor by power but by my Spirit says the LORD.
when the Lord spoke to Moses and he later presented it to the people it sounded so easy in their hearing and they knew they could do, i believe they will to do but what they did not understand is that every word that comes from God is Holy and the enemy the devils will always challenge it , bring you to disobey. I will to do good, it's in me to walk right but i find myself doing wrong its the sin that is in me. the hidden sin nature that is in us. None of us wake up in the morning planning to be rude at someone , no we all wake np with a will to do because the Lord has made the day but along the way things happen because we don't know what the day will bring or we have gotten used that we do not commit our works and day unto the Lord because we believe it was well yesterday so shall it be well today. it's good to have those mind set but not in your strength but rather to wrap your words with the strength of the Lord so that when things show up you are grace to know how to handle, you are able to show mercy and easy to forgive, you can tell and understand that it's the plans of the wicked to bring an occasion to strike you, so with God in the plan all your armor is ready.
The laws of God are holy. We have never been asked to do it on our own, the Holy is to be with us, there is grace and mercy that we can access in time of need. Had they understood they would have told Moses we will to do but we are not able to help us. In like manner when we read the scripture and see how we are to walk we should always pray that the LORD will help us to mediate what is pleasing to Him, allow the Holy Spirit to convict us when we sin and we come to repentance. We are not able to do this on our own. Let's try to be Christ ,conscious. Let's pray to the Father to help us to grow. let's study to know and pray to be helped to apply this in our life. what we have read. Because our battles end when we leave earth. We are a billboard in which Jesus is seen and read . only this is possible in complete surrender. John15:5 kjv I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. will to do and ask to be helped.
